What We Do
Services
Compass offers a variety of services to fulfill our mission of supporting people with developmental disabilities and their families to live the lives they desire in communities of their choice. These services are divided into three main areas; our Community Living program, our Community Engagement program, and our Support Services program. Compass is also available as a vendor for people who choose Self-Directed Services.
Community Living
The Community Living program consists of the group homes Compass manages and maintains along with the health, behavioral, social, or financial supports a resident of one of these homes may need to manage their day-to-day life while supporting their independence.
Community Living Group Home
Helping individuals learn daily living skills and socialize in a community setting through structured teaching method
Supported Living
Supported Living services enable individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to receive support for their day-to-day life at home.
Personal Supports
Personal Supports services help individuals in their own or family homes develop skills for maximum personal independence.
Shared Living
Shared Living involves individuals with disabilities residing with a couple or family in the community, while Compass supports and promotes the success of these arrangements.
Community Engagment
The Community Engagement program at Compass provides an array of services that aim to develop meaningful and sustainable opportunities for individuals to participate in occupational and recreational activities in their community.
Employment Services
Providing vocational services encompassing skill development, work safety, customized employment strategies, and more
Community Development Services
Helping individuals learn daily living skills and socialize in a community setting through structured teaching method
Support Services
Beyond the opportunities provided through the Community Living and Meaningful Day programs, Compass also offers specialized services to support specific goals and needs of members of our community. These include assistance in planning and enacting individualized behavior supports, housing services that work to find solutions for an individual’s housing needs, personal support services, and an array of programs designed to empower the families and caregivers of adults with disabilities to best support their loved ones
Family Support Services
Empowering families with resources to enhance the quality of life for individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities
Housing Support Services
Housing Support Services (HSS) aids individuals seeking new housing opportunities, transitioning, or addressing current housing concerns under DDA waivers.
Behavioral Support Services
Aiding individuals facing challenges at home or in the community due to behavioral, social, or emotional issues
Nursing Support
Supporting your healthcare needs by providing a nurse who will assist and guide you with setting health goals and providing oversight on a regular basis.
