Meet Brandon

Meet Brandon

Many people are impressed by Brandon’s notable height and stature, but it is his larger-than-life personality that sets him apart from the crowd. He loves spending quality time with friends and family just as much as he loves talking to customers at work. Recently celebrating five years at his customer service job along with a promotion, it’s no surprise that he also serves on Compass’ Board of Directors–but his dream has always been to become a chef and work in the food service industry. Chef Jaren Morrow is helping to make this dream a reality.

Chef Morrow fell in love with food and cooking while working at a small grocery store deli. He has since made a name for himself as a chef by working at a number of critically acclaimed restaurants in the Washington, DC area–including Old Ebbitt Grill, TheHamilton, and Moon Rabbit.During the pandemic, he established Kennedy Street Tacos, a pop-up restaurant, which has garnered a following and achieved widespread recognition within the restaurant community. After meeting with Brandon and hearing his story, Chef Morrow was impressed by Brandon and touched by the parallels oftheir individual paths. Thanks to the partnership with Chef Morrow, Brandon is living his dream and working as a cook under Chef Morrow’s mentorship.
