Individual Support Services (ISS)
Individual Support Services are services of low intensity or short duration. Individuals in our ISS program receive drop-in support and assistance with medical appointments and personal care.
Short-term support (respite) is another service Compass provides under the ISS program. Respite refers to short term, temporary care provided to people with intellectual disabilities in order to give families a break from the daily routine of care giving. Respite services may be for several hours only or extended to include several days and overnight care. Trained personnel assist the individual in activities of daily living to promote the individual’s health and safety.
