Personal Support Services

Personal Supports

Compass provides individuals with the support necessary to enable them to live in their own homes, apartments, family homes, or rental units alone, with roommates, or with other members of their family. Individuals receive varying degrees of support, based on what they need to live most successfully in their home, and range from intensive behavioral supports or significant personal care giving (CNA) supports for many hours a day, to drop-in supports for just a few hours a day to assist an individual with tasks such as shopping, balancing a checkbook, or cleaning.

With Personal Support Services, Compass employees provide a full range of community based support which includes enhanced development of the individual’s natural support system (family, friends and neighbors of the individual) for greater fulfillment of our cooperative mission: to ensure individuals are fully assimilated and included in their neighborhoods, places of work, and places of worship.
