Dear Friends and Families,
In 1995, our founder had a vision and fervent desire to support individuals with intellectual disabilities to enjoy a quality life -- a life in which their abilities would be recognized and developed and a life in which their dreams would be realized.
Shortly after the opening of our first residential home, our organization developed a reputation as an outstanding provider of residential services, providing homes and positive support for individuals who present unique challenges and needs.
As we pass our 15 year mark, we are pleased to report that Compass is still going strong. With a workforce of over 300 employees and services that span four Maryland counties, we continue to support individuals in our residential, respite, day, and employment programs to be the best they can be.
We are there when needed, helping individuals to soar! We want everyone to feel the thrill of living life to the fullest and fulfilling their dreams whether they be to go parasailing, have a pet, become their own boss, raise a family, become involved in advocating for what is right, or accomplish other life–long goals. Our current annual report focuses on some of these amazing stories, told by some of the people who have lived them.
